Principal Financial Group in Pune is seeking a Senior Delivery Manager - Engineering to lead a 20+ member data engineering team and drive delivery across data initiatives, setting directions on data architecture and engineering best practices.

You will collaborate with Home Office and GCH stakeholders to align outcomes, guide architecture, governance, and execution, and mentor technical leaders while partnering with business stakeholders across locations.

Qualifications

• Graduate - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Masters in Computers or relevant.
• 13 to 15 years of experience.
• Strong background in data engineering, modern data platforms, data architecture, and data products.
• Experience leading complex data initiatives and engineering teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
• Experience partnering with senior global stakeholders across locations.
• Ability to lead both employees and contractor teams, including operational reporting work.
• Strong communication, decision facilitation, and execution discipline.
• Expertise in AWS, Snowflake, Power BI.

From a technical standpoint, we're looking for someone with strong experience in AWS, Snowflake, Power BI, modern data platforms, and data architecture, along with proven leadership experience managing large engineering teams and complex programs.

Who You Are:

This is a Senior Delivery Manager - Engineering role leading the Distribution Data Program. You'll provide leadership for a 20+ member data engineering team and oversee a contractor team supporting operational reporting. On a day-to-day basis, you'll work closely with Data Engineering, Architecture, Product teams, and business stakeholders across both Home Office and GCH locations.

Education: Graduate - Bachelor's degree (Engineering) or Masters in Computers or relevant

Experience: 13 to 15 years
