Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Data Scientist III to lead high-value data science and AI initiatives across multiple business areas. You will design, develop, and deploy advanced solutions, combining deep technical work with senior stakeholder engagement and mentoring in a collaborative environment.

The role emphasizes production-grade delivery, solution architecture, and measurable business impact, with opportunities to influence strategy and drive value across global operations.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related quantitative field.
• Typically 5-7+ years of progressive experience in data science, ML, AI or advanced analytics.
• Deep hands-on expertise in Python, SQL, statistical modeling, machine learning, solution architecture and cloud platforms.
• Demonstrated experience delivering production-grade data science or AI solutions with measurable business impact.
• Strong understanding of modern AI approaches including GenAI/LLMs, RAG, AI agents, graph technologies and evolving AI ecosystems.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate business strategy into technical solutions.
• Strong commercial/business acumen and ability to prioritize based on value rather than technical novelty.
• Demonstrated technical leadership, mentoring and cross-functional influence.

REQUIREMENTS
