Job summary

True Tech Professionals is seeking an experienced Lead Data Scientist to set the technical direction, own end-to-end ML solutions, and lead a team of data scientists and engineers.

You will own the model lifecycle, defend architecture decisions, design experiments, build scalable feature pipelines, monitor performance, and mentor 2–4 team members. You will serve as the primary technical contact for clients and translate complex model trade-offs for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 10–12 years of Data Science experience with proven production model ownership.
• Strong expertise in Classical ML — Regression, Classification, XGBoost, LightGBM.
• Deep Learning expertise in at least one area: NLP, Forecasting, Recommendation Systems or Computer Vision.
• Genuine hands‑on experience with Snowflake; production‑scale feature engineering and training infrastructure.
• Distributed computing — Spark, Ray or equivalent; robust MLOps — MLflow/model registries, CI/CD, automated retraining, monitoring & drift detection.
• GenAI/LLM experience — RAG/retrieval design, evaluation frameworks and understanding of failure modes.
• Technical leadership, mentoring and model/code review experience; excellent client‑facing communication.

Responsibilities
