Qualifications

• Understanding of Regulatory Compliance and analytics deployment to manage risks.
• Experience in Financial Services with agile development.
• Led analytics projects delivery with a team; strong organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; experience in global teams.
• Ability to translate business problems into data and analytics requirements.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Data Scientist.

In this role, you will:

• The individual will be responsible for reporting Regulatory Compliance AI & Analytics scorecard and key performance indicators in a timely and accurate manner.
• Facilitate and take measures for effective capacity management. Devise delivery strategies for the Regulatory Compliance AI & Analytics Budgeting.
• Streamline & automate collection of data for reporting & responsible for project tracking & Governance.
• Take measures for facilitating and managing the Capacity for teams across sites & collaborate with the MCM teams across the GAC sites.
• Liaise with all necessary stakeholders, as required, both internal and external for effective and timely management of all activities.
• The role holder will be responsible for operational, human capital and regulatory risk relating to the area.
• The role holder will extend strategic support to the Regulatory Conduct AI & Analytics in the Business Management space by: - Facilitate Learning & Development, Hiring, Jira management, Bow Reporting, Cost Center Reporting, recruitment process, Migrations, Billing Process and Business Travel Process.
• Streamline & automate collection of data for reporting & responsible for project tracking & Governance.

To be successful you will:

• University degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics on any other quantitative discipline, technology, data analytics or related discipline or relevant work experience in Data Science
• Understanding of Regulatory Compliance, risks and direct experience of deployment of controls and analytics to manage those risks.
• Experience in Financial Services or related industry, Experience of agile development.
• Must have led analytics projects delivery with a team. Have strong organizational and planning skills.
• Have good interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with proven experience working in a matrixed management structure, managing global teams.
• Able to work independently and solve complex business problems whilst keeping stakeholders informed.
• Client focused, with strong relationship building and analytical skills. Strong business acumen with ability to diagnose and articulate business problems
• Ability to translate business problems into data and analytics requirements and recommend solutions for adoption and commercialization
