The Centre for Intelligent Power at Eaton India’s Innovation Centre in Pune is recruiting a Senior Data Scientist to collaborate with the Mobility product group and develop data-science based features for next-generation mobility solutions.

The role requires 6+ years of experience in machine learning and data science, a Master’s or Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Industrial/Automotive engineering, strong Python and MATLAB skills, and the ability to deploy algorithms on resource-constrained platforms

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive or Industrial engineering or other numerate degree.
• 6+ years of progressive involvement in applying data science to real-world problems.

Responsabilités

The Senior Data Scientist will majorly collaborate with Eaton's Mobility product group to develop new data-science based product features. The features will primarily address emergent use cases in the mobility and automotive domains. The successful candidate will be expected to analyse requirements to drive the research and development of Machine Learning techniques to production of the features and monitoring after. In addition, the candidate will be expected to understand and consider system constraints – especially constraints related to implementing algorithms on resource-constrained platforms. This position will be part of the planned Mobility Spin-off."
