RTX India Private Limited is seeking a Senior Analyst for Data Science & Analytics in Bengaluru. The role involves designing and maintaining data pipelines, ELT/ETL processes, and data governance across projects.

You will collaborate with global teams to deliver scalable analytics solutions, while enhancing data quality and availability for business insights. The position is hybrid, full-time, and requires strong Python, PySpark, Databricks, and SQL/NoSQL skills along with experience in data

Qualifications

• BE or advanced degree in data-related field with 5+ years of experience OR 9+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• 2+ years of data engineering experience designing and implementing data solutions.
• Hands-on with data warehousing technologies and ETL tools.
• Proficient in Python, PySpark and Databricks; strong SQL/NoSQL knowledge.
• Strong communication and Agile teamwork capabilities.

What You Will Do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design data pipelines to ingest, process, and transform data from various sources.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) processes to ensure efficient data extraction and loading.
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring mechanisms to ensure data accuracy, quality, and consistency.
• Develop ETL pipelines in cloud environment for general business consumption, establishing patterns for repeatable, scalable ETL/ELT work that others can leverage in their work.
• Implement data governance and master data management principles across specific project execution.
• Collaborate with global business teams to understand the problems and design scalable solutions.
• Identify and understand the necessary data sources for projects and efficient ways to clean and transform it.
• Work with Global Technology to ensure that solutions are up to current standards and best practices.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and build new skills in data engineering, technologies and platforms.
• Familiar with Unity catalog and CICD pipeline.

Qualifications You Must Have

• B.E in Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics with 9+ years prior relevant engineering experience OR Advanced Degree in Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics with and 5+ years prior relevant engineering experience.
• 2+ years of experience working as a Data Engineer, with a strong track record of designing and implementing data solutions.
• Hands-on experience with data warehousing technologies and ETL tools (e.g. Fivetran, SSIS, AWS Glue, Qlik Replicate).
• Hands on experience with Python, Pyspark and databricks
• Strong understanding on GitHub
• Strong understanding of Agile methodology
• Strong database knowledge, in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience in fostering collaboration and driving alignment across various teams.
• Self-starter with high level of intellectual curiosity.
• Strong analytical and hardworking problem-solving mindset

Qualifications we prefer

• Experience in Aerospace & Defense Processes from Design to Manufacturing to After Sales & Support
• Broad understanding of gas turbine engine fundamentals and associated components.
• Knowledge and experience in Data Governance, Architecture and Platforms
