Coeo Ltd. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for its Managed Services team in Hyderabad. The role is hands-on, focusing on supporting and enhancing Azure-based data platforms with 5+ years of experience and strong Python/SQL skills. The job involves production support, automation, and customer-facing guidance.

You will work in a hybrid model (office 1 day per week) and have opportunities to grow through structured learning and Microsoft certifications.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience working in a Managed Services team, supporting Azure-based production Data & Analytics ETL/integration solutions (e.g., Synapse, Databricks, Data Factory, Fabric, Function Apps, Power BI) in line with SLAs
• Strong hands‑on skills in Python and SQL
• Proven ability to identify, investigate, and resolve complex technical issues
• Experience with ticket management and communicating directly with customers/end‑users via phone, tickets, and email

As a Senior Data Engineer in our Managed Services team, you’ll play a key role in supporting and enhancing modern data platforms for our clients. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll be trusted to take ownership, solve complex problems, and continuously improve the solutions we manage. You’ll also have the opportunity to grow your skills through structured learning and Microsoft certifications.

In this role, you will:

Required Experience:

• A minimum of 5+ years of relevant professional experience is required.
• Experience working in a Managed Services team, supporting Azure-based production Data & Analytics ETL/integration solutions (e.g., Synapse, Databricks, Data Factory, Fabric, Function Apps, Power BI) in line with SLAs
• Strong hands‑on skills in Python and SQL
• Proven ability to identify, investigate, and resolve complex technical issues
• Experience with ticket management and communicating directly with customers/end‑users via phone, tickets, and email

Advantageous Experience:

• Familiarity with ITIL practices and service management frameworks
• Experience enhancing data pipelines, notebooks, and Power BI reports/models
• Knowledge of PySpark, Scala Spark SQL, .NET (C#), SSAS, and SSIS
• Exposure to Azure infrastructure (e.g., VMs, VNETs, security configurations)
• Microsoft certifications such as DP-203 or DP-600
