Job summary

Innova ESI is seeking a Senior Data Engineer/Lead Data Engineer to spearhead data initiatives and manage client relationships in a hybrid model across Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Noida, and Ahmedabad. The role combines hands-on design with leadership responsibilities to mentor teams and deliver scalable data solutions.

You will architect ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehouses, and lakehouse architectures, while driving governance, security, and data quality.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of data engineering experience with proven leadership and client engagement.
• Experience leading teams to deliver data solutions in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong design of ETL/ELT, data models, warehouses, and lakehouse.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Fabric, ADF, SQL, and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, ADF, and SQL.
• Architect and optimize ETL pipelines, data warehouses, and lakehouse solutions.
• Drive technical discussions with clients and translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data engineers to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD processes, deployment pipelines, and coding best practices.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer / Lead Data Engineer to lead data engineering initiatives, manage client relationships, and drive successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with leadership capabilities to design scalable data solutions, mentor team members, and engage directly with business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and SQL.
• Architect and optimize ETL pipelines, data warehouses, and lakehouse solutions.
• Drive technical discussions with clients and translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data engineers to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD processes, deployment pipelines, and coding best practices.
• Work closely with stakeholders in Agile/Scrum environments to deliver business value.
• Ensure data quality, performance, governance, and security across solutions.
• Understand the business requirements quickly and develop Power BI reports.

Required Skills
