Milestone Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to support data migration, data engineering, and data transformation initiatives for our Salesforce-powered ITSM Platform.

You will collaborate with Salesforce Leads, Architects, Integration Developers, Business Analysts, and Quality Analysts to ensure accurate, secure, and high-quality movement of data from legacy systems into Salesforce and Enterprise Service Management solutions.

Formación

• 5–7 years of overall IT experience.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Migration projects.
• Experience supporting Salesforce implementations or enterprise transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of data migration, ETL/ELT processes, and data quality practices.
• Experience working with large datasets and enterprise data environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile and Scrum-based delivery environments.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and support data migration solutions for Salesforce transformation programs.
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines supporting migration, integration, and data synchronization initiatives.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, cleansing, enrichment, and validation activities.
• Develop reusable migration frameworks, reconciliation processes, and automation utilities.
• Support migration planning, mock migrations, cutover activities, and production deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data migration and quality issues.
• Support migration and transformation of: Incident Records, Service Requests, Change Records, Problem Records, Knowledge Articles, CMDB Data, IT Asset Management Data, User and Organizational Data, Service Catalog Data.
• Ensure alignment between source systems and Salesforce data structures.
• Support business reporting, analytics, automation, and service management processes through high-quality data delivery.
• Perform data profiling, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation activities.
• Support implementation of data governance and quality frameworks.
• Define and monitor data quality metrics and migration success criteria.
• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
• Support root cause analysis and issue resolution activities.
• Work closely with Lead Data Engineers, Architects, Salesforce Developers, Integration Teams, and Business Analysts.
• Support solution estimation, sprint planning, and Agile delivery processes.
• Participate in data design reviews and architecture discussions.
• Contribute to project documentation, migration runbooks, and operational procedures.
• Support data foundations for Agentforce, Data Cloud, AI-powered service experiences, and intelligent automation initiatives.
• Contribute to automation opportunities across migration and validation processes.
• Stay current with emerging data engineering technologies and best practices.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically strong Senior Data Engineer to support enterprise-scale data migration, data engineering, and data transformation initiatives for our next-generation Salesforce-powered Conversational Agentic ITSM Platform.

This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy solving complex data challenges, building scalable data pipelines, and driving successful migration programs. You will work closely with Salesforce Leads, Architects, Integration Developers, Business Analysts, and Quality Analysts to ensure accurate, secure, and high-quality movement of data from legacy platforms into Salesforce and Enterprise Service Management solutions.

You will play a critical role in enabling Agentforce, AI-driven automation, analytics, CMDB, IT Asset Management, and Enterprise Service Management capabilities through robust data engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

Data Engineering & Migration

• Design, develop, and support data migration solutions for Salesforce transformation programs.
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines supporting migration, integration, and data synchronization initiatives.
