Job summary

Equifax is seeking a Sr. Data Engineer - Data Engineering in Bengaluru to manage BAU for DFKL for Consumer and Commercial bureau, and to lead the development and maintenance of metrics, dashboards, and analyses for a diverse group of stakeholders.

You will review data to identify insights, work on entity resolution challenges, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions on the GCP/Ignite platform. A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of data experience are required.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of data management, engineering, and/or data analysis experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience managing small/mid-size teams.

Synopsis of the role:

The Sr. Data Engineer - Data Engineering position is responsible for managing the BAU for DFKL for Consumer and Commercial bureau. Also, the development and maintenance of ongoing programs/project metrics, presentations, analyses, dashboards, etc. to inform a wide variety of stakeholders.

What you'll do:

• Review data to identify key insights.
• Identify ways that data can be used to solve Entity Resolution problems.
• Use Analytical skills to gather, view and analyze information
• Use Numerical skills to measure and statistically analyze data
• Work with key stakeholders and understand their needs to develop new or improve existing Entity Resolution (keying & linking).
• Work in a cross-functional team
• Provide hands-on support and guidance in the design and development of solutions using large datasets within GCP/Ignite platform.
• Capture business and functional requirements for key projects or assignments.

What experience you need:

• Work location of this role will be Bangalore.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or other related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of data management, engineering, and/or, data analysis experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience managing small/mid-size teams required.
• Clear communication skills of technical or analytical results and recommendations to both technical and non-technical business leaders.
• SQL, Big Query knowledge.
• Basic fundamentals of programming.
