Job summary

Synechron is seeking a Senior Cloud Data Engineer in Bengaluru to lead cloud data platform initiatives. You will design, implement, and optimize scalable data pipelines and architecture using Snowflake, DBT, Airflow, and AWS.

The role requires hands-on delivery, solutioning, and strong collaboration with business and technology teams. Ideal candidates have 8–12 years of IT experience with expertise in modern data engineering practices, IaC, and cloud-native architectures.

Qualifications

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake, DBT, Airflow, and AWS to join our Data Engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess hands‑on cloud data platform implementation experience, solutioning capabilities, infrastructure automation expertise, and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across business and technology teams.

This role requires a blend of technical excellence, architecture thinking, cloud platform delivery experience, and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support scalable cloud-based data platforms on AWS.
• Build and optimize ELT/ETL pipelines using Snowflake, DBT, and Airflow.
• Participate in solution design, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making.
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
• Develop and support CI/CD pipelines for data platform deployments.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to deliver data solutions.
• Ensure platform reliability, performance, security, and operational excellence.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing cloud platform support.
