Job summary

ITC Infotech seeks a Senior Data Architect - Azure Integration Platform to lead design and governance of enterprise Azure data ecosystems for a global client.

You will define standards, drive modernization programs, and enable data-driven transformation across lakehouse and integration platforms using Databricks and PySpark.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or related domains.
• Strong hands-on experience with PySpark.
• Deep understanding of Lakehouse Architecture, Data Warehousing, Metadata-Driven Frameworks, Data Governance and Security.
• Experience with Git-based Development, Infrastructure as Code, and Monitoring/Operational Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise data architecture standards, frameworks, and best practices.
• Design scalable Azure-based lakehouse and integration platforms for batch, CDC, streaming, and real-time workloads.
• Lead data modeling across raw, curated, and business layers.
• Lead architecture assessments, technology evaluations, and governance.
• Develop ETL/ELT solutions using Azure Databricks and PySpark.
• Define ingestion frameworks for full-load, incremental, and high-volume processing.
• Establish architectural blueprints with ADLS Gen2 and Delta Lake.
• Implement security, governance, quality, lineage, and operational standards.
• Build monitoring, observability, and cost-efficiency frameworks.
• Mentor data engineering teams and engage stakeholders.
• Lead architecture reviews and long-term data transformation roadmaps.

ITC Infotech is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Architect - Azure Integration Platform to lead the design, governance, and evolution of enterprise-scale Azure data ecosystems for our global client.

This role is ideal for a seasoned data architect with deep expertise in Azure data services, lakehouse architectures, data integration frameworks, and engineering leadership. You will play a critical role in defining enterprise architecture standards, driving large-scale modernization initiatives, and enabling data-driven business transformation.

What You'll Be Doing

Data Architecture & Strategy

• Define enterprise data architecture standards, frameworks, and best practices.
• Design scalable Azure-based lakehouse and integration platforms supporting batch, CDC, streaming, and real-time workloads.
• Drive data modeling strategies across raw, curated, and business consumption layers.
• Lead architecture assessments, technology evaluations, and solution governance.
• Lead the design and development of ETL/ELT solutions using Azure Databricks and PySpark.
• Define ingestion frameworks for full-load, incremental, and high-volume transactional processing.
• Establish architectural blueprints leveraging ADLS Gen2 and Delta Lake.

Governance, Security & Reliability

• Implement enterprise security and governance using Azure-native capabilities.
• Drive data quality, lineage, compliance, and operational excellence standards.
• Build monitoring, observability, alerting, and performance optimization frameworks.
• Ensure platform scalability, resiliency, and cost efficiency.

Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

• Mentor and guide data engineering teams across architecture and development initiatives.
• Partner with business leaders, enterprise architects, and delivery stakeholders.
• Lead architecture reviews and strategic decision-making.
• Contribute to long-term data transformation roadmaps.

Required Skills & Experience

8-10 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or related domains

Strong hands-on experience with:
