Priceline.com Technology India LLP is seeking a Senior Data Analyst in Finance to lead high-impact analytics initiatives. You’ll partner with multiple Finance domains to drive operational efficiency and enable executive decision-making through data-driven insights.

You will analyze large datasets using SQL/BigQuery, build dashboards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver analytical solutions that optimize reporting and processes.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech with 5–6 years of data analytics experience.
• Expert SQL skills and large/complex data handling.
• Experience building dashboards with Tableau or Power BI.
• Proficiency in Python or OO programming.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel modeling skills.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

This role is eligible for our hybrid work model: Two days in-office.

As a Senior Data Analyst within our Finance team, you will lead high-profile, strategic initiatives. Collaborating closely with stakeholders across diverse Finance verticals, your contributions and insights will have a direct impact on operational efficiency and executive decision-making.

In this role, you will:

• Partner with Finance stakeholders across multiple domains to understand business processes, identify opportunities, and deliver data-driven insights that improve operational efficiency.
• Analyze large and complex datasets using SQL and BigQuery to identify trends, anomalies, root causes, and actionable recommendations.
• Perform ad hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives, business planning, and executive decision-making.
• Provide actionable analytical insights to support business functions and strategic initiatives.
• Drive process improvement initiatives by leveraging data to identify inefficiencies, automate manual processes, and optimize reporting workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Data Engineering, Analytics, and Product to define business requirements and deliver analytical solutions.

Who you are:

• BE/B.Tech with 5 - 6 years experience working in data analytics.
• Expert-level SQL skills with hands-on experience working with large, complex datasets, preferably with Oracle or BigQuery, but other relational databases are OK.
• Analytical and proven track record in using data to measure performance and drive decision-making.
• Experience building dashboards using Tableau (preferred) or Power BI.
• Proficiency in Object-Oriented programming or Python.
• Advanced modeling expertise utilizing Microsoft Excel is essential.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in consulting, product-based companies, or finance analytics is preferred; finance domain knowledge is a plus.
