Priceline.com LLC is seeking a Senior Data Analyst in the Finance team. The role focuses on delivering data-driven insights to improve operational efficiency and executive decision-making, collaborating with multiple Finance domains and cross-functional teams.

You will analyze large datasets, build dashboards, and drive process improvements using SQL, BigQuery, Python, and Excel in a hybrid work model with two days in-office.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech with 5-6 years experience in data analytics.
• Expert-level SQL skills with hands-on experience on large datasets (Oracle or BigQuery).
• Experience building dashboards using Tableau (preferred) or Power BI.
• Proficiency in Python or similar OO language.
• Advanced modeling with Microsoft Excel is essential.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.

• Partner with Finance stakeholders across domains to understand processes and deliver data-driven insights.

As a Senior Data Analyst within our Finance team, you will lead high-profile, strategic initiatives. Collaborating closely with stakeholders across diverse Finance verticals, your contributions and insights will have a direct impact on operational efficiency and executive decision-making.

In this role, you will:

• Partner with Finance stakeholders across multiple domains to understand business processes, identify opportunities, and deliver data-driven insights that improve operational efficiency.
• Analyze large and complex datasets using SQL and BigQuery to identify trends, anomalies, root causes, and actionable recommendations.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives, business planning, and executive decision-making.
• Provide actionable analytical insights to support business functions and strategic initiatives.
• Drive process improvement initiatives by leveraging data to identify inefficiencies, automate manual processes, and optimize reporting workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Data Engineering, Analytics, and Product to define business requirements and deliver analytical solutions.

Who you are

• BE/B.Tech with 5-6 years experience working in data analytics.
• Expert-level SQL skills with hands-on experience working with large, complex datasets, preferably with Oracle or BigQuery, but other relational databases are OK.
• Analytical and proven track record in using data to measure performance and drive decision-making.
• Experience building dashboards using Tableau (preferred) or Power BI.
• Proficiency in Object-Oriented programming or Python.
• Advanced modeling expertise utilizing Microsoft Excel is essential.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in consulting, product-based companies, or finance analytics is preferred; finance domain knowledge is a plus.
• Illustrated history of living the values necessary to Priceline: Customer, Innovation, Team, Accountability, and Trust.
• Unquestionable integrity and ethics is essential.
