Job summary

Priceline in Mumbai is seeking a Senior Data Analyst within our Finance team to lead high-profile, strategic initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders across Finance verticals to drive operational efficiency and executive decision-making.

You'll analyze large datasets with SQL and BigQuery, build dashboards in Tableau or Power BI, and translate data into actionable insights while partnering with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver analytical solutions.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech degree with 5–6 years in data analytics.
• Expert SQL with large datasets; BigQuery experience preferred.

In This Role, You Will

• Partner with Finance stakeholders across multiple domains to understand business processes, identify opportunities, and deliver data-driven insights that improve operational efficiency.
• Analyze large and complex datasets using SQL and BigQuery to identify trends, anomalies, root causes, and actionable recommendations.
• Perform ad hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives, business planning, and executive decision-making.
• Provide actionable analytical insights to support business functions and strategic initiatives.
• Drive process improvement initiatives by leveraging data to identify inefficiencies, automate manual processes, and optimize reporting workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Data Engineering, Analytics, and Product to define business requirements and deliver analytical solutions.

Who You Are

• BE/B.Tech with 5 - 6 years experience working in data analytics.
• Expert-level SQL skills with hands‑on experience working with large, complex datasets, preferably with Oracle or BigQuery, but other relational databases are OK.
• Analytical and proven track record in using data to measure performance and drive decision-making.
• Experience building dashboards using Tableau (preferred) or Power BI.
• Proficiency in Object‑Oriented programming or Python.
• Advanced modeling expertise utilizing Microsoft Excel is essential.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience partnering with cross‑functional stakeholders and managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience in consulting, product‑based companies, or finance analytics is preferred; finance domain knowledge is a plus

Priceline is following a hybrid working model, which includes two days onsite as determined by you and your manager (ideally selecting among Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday). On the remaining days, you can choose to be remote or in the office.
