Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to drive data-driven insights across advertiser performance, audience quality, inventory, and supply-side partnerships within a data-intensive programmatic advertising environment.
The role involves working closely with Engineering, Data Science, ML, and Business teams to analyse large-scale datasets, build dashboards and forecasts, identify trends, and translate complex data into actionable business recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse audience behaviour, segmentation, campaign performance, targeting efficiency, and ROI.
- Evaluate inventory quality, bid-stream data, win rates, CPM/eCPM trends, and supply performance.
- Build and maintain reporting for key DSP metrics including bid win rate, auction efficiency, audience match rate, cost per outcome, and pacing .
- Develop inventory and impression forecasting models to support planning and pricing decisions.
- Perform geo-based analysis at ZIP-code/sub-regional level to identify audience and inventory trends.
- Analyse large-scale event-level and bid-stream datasets using appropriate sampling techniques.
- Partner with Engineering teams on data pipelines, instrumentation, data validation, and data quality.
- Work with Data Science/ML teams to interpret model outputs and convert them into actionable business insights.
- Build self-service dashboards and analytics solutions for business and internal stakeholders.
- Design and evaluate A/B tests and experiments related to bidding, audience models, and supply optimisation.
- Monitor DSP integrations with SSPs, DMPs, and data partners to identify data quality and signal gaps.
- Identify trends, anomalies, optimisation opportunities, and business growth areas and present recommendations to leadership.
Required Skills
Data & Analytics
- 6+ years of experience in Data Analytics / Data Analysis .
- Strong expertise in SQL for analysis, automation, and statistical work.
- Experience working with large-scale data platforms such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift .
- Experience handling high-volume event-level, log-level, or transactional datasets.
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis and sampling techniques.
- Hands-on experience with Looker, Tableau, Power BI , or similar BI tools.
- Ability to build clear, business-focused dashboards and data visualizations.
- Strong data storytelling and presentation skills.
Data Engineering & ML Collaboration
- Experience working with Engineering teams on data pipelines, event instrumentation, and data validation .
- Exposure to modern data stacks such as dbt, Airflow , or similar technologies.
- Ability to understand ML concepts, interpret model outputs, and translate them into business insights.
Additional Skills
- Experience with geo-based analysis / geographic segmentation .
- Experience designing and interpreting A/B tests and experiments .
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Good to Have
- Experience in Ad Tech, Programmatic Advertising, DSP, or SSP environments.
- Knowledge of RTB, bid shading, win rate, eCPM , and other programmatic advertising metrics.
- Experience with Supply Path Optimisation (SPO) or SSP/exchange integrations.
- Knowledge of audience segmentation, lookalike modelling, or data clean rooms.
- Exposure to ML applications in bid optimisation, audience scoring, or campaign optimisation .
- Experience with inventory forecasting or time-series analysis .
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering , or a related discipline.
