Job summary

Optum is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to interpret customer needs, design data-driven solutions, and deploy AI-powered applications using no-code and low-code platforms. The role emphasizes translating business requirements into scalable analytics and leveraging Spark, Databricks, and streaming technologies to improve decision making.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with Python, PySpark, Scala, Kafka, and DevOps practices, and demonstrates strong analytical and communication skills

Qualifications

• 7+ years of working experience in Python, Pyspark, Scala.
• 5+ years of working experience in Azure Databricks.
• 3+ years of experience working on MS Sql Server and NoSQL DBs like Cassandra, etc.
• Hands on experience in the Streaming application (Kafka, Spark Streaming, etc.)
• Proven ability to understand the existing application codebase, perform impact analysis and update the code when required based on the business logic or for optimization
• Proven exposure to following DevOps methodology and creating CI/CD deployment pipeline
• Proven exposure to following Agile methodology specifically using tools like Rally
• Proven excellent Analytical and Communication skills (Both Verbal and Written)
• Skills: Python, Spark and Scala
• Azure Databricks and Kafka
• DevOps and CICD
• Gen AI, Lang Chain, Agentic AI, etc.

Primary Responsibilities:
