Job summary

The Shaw Group in Pune, India seeks a Senior CSA Designer to develop 3D models and drawings for steel and concrete structures, ensuring compliance with AISC, ACI, PIP and AWS standards.

You'll coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, review 3D models and shop drawings, act as drawing checker, and advance BIM/Revit standards across projects, delivering high-quality EPC deliverables on time.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D models and drawings for steel structures, foundations, concrete structures, modules, and civil works.
• Interpret inputs and prepare drawings per AISC, ACI, PIP, AWS and industry standards.
• Perform modular design for pipe racks, process modules, skids, power generation, gas compression, and water injection facilities.
• Prepare structural drawings for existing steel and concrete structures.
• Support Lead/Senior CSA Engineer in design and execution of projects.
• Coordinate with sub-vendors; review shop drawings, 3D models, MTOs and related deliverables.
• Support resolution of structural queries from fabrication yards.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for alignment and timely delivery.
• Participate in 30%, 60%, and 90% 3D model review meetings with stakeholders/customers.
• Act as Drawing Checker and Lead Designer for assigned projects.
• Create and administer Revit standards, templates, families, and metadata – experience with Revit 2024–2025 is a plus.
• Ensure quality, compliance, timely delivery, and IP protection.
