Job summary

The Corporate Institute in Pune invites applications for a Sr Credit Manager with 10-12 years of credit experience in Banking/NBFC. The role focuses on analysing and underwriting various retail loans, ensuring compliance with credit policy and robust due diligence.

The incumbent will coordinate loan processing through disbursement, maintain and grow relationships with DSAs, CA firms and financial consultants, and oversee KYC and documentation for mortgage portfolios in the region.

Qualifications

• 10-12 years of experience in credit management and lending
• MBA (Finance) or professional accounting/finance qualifications as listed (CA/ICWA/CFA)

Responsibilities

• Analysing/underwriting Home Loan, Loan against Property, Lease Rental Discounting and other retail products.
• Due Diligence / Credit Checks / Credit analysis as per policy.
• Coordinate with Business department for loan processing through disbursement.
• Develop and manage relationships with DSAs, connectors, CAs and other financial consultants.
• Maintain a healthy mortgage loan portfolio in the region.
• Conduct site visits for properties and borrower residences; ensure KYC and due diligence.
• Ensure proper documentation and disbursement of retail loans; follow up on PDD.
• Knowledge of various Retail Banking products; assess case intricacies for approval.

Salary Range : As per industry Standard (max 25 Lakhs)

Qualification : MBA (Finance), CA, ICWA and CFA, etc.

The role description is mentioned below:

• Analysing/underwriting of Home Loan, Loan against Property, Lease Rental Discounting, and any other retail products offered by the bank.
• Due Diligence / Credit Checks / Credit analysis, Credit assessment of the Loan, as per the credit policy.
• Coordination with the Business department for the processing of loans till final disbursement.
• Developing, maintaining and managing relationships with business generators like DSAs, Connectors, Chartered Accountants other financial consultants.
• Responsible for maintaining a good loan portfolio for the Mortgage business in the region
• Undertaking site visits of properties to be mortgaged and residences of borrowers, as well as ensuring due diligence and KYC of borrowers.
• Ensuring proper documentation and Disbursement of retail Loans, following up and clearing PDD
• Thorough knowledge of various Retail Banking products.
• Understanding the intricacies of various cases and filtering them so that only appropriate cases are put up for approval.
