Job summary

Dow India seeks a Senior Controller Coordinator to deliver high-quality cost accounting support, financial analysis, and reporting for business stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Qualified CA or CMA with 2+ years in costing/cost accounting.
  • Inter CA/Inter CMA or MBA with 5+ years accounting experience.
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Commerce with 5+ years relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting, financial controls, inventory accounting, and budgeting.
  • Experience in manufacturing or supply chain environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead month-end closing and analyze global cost accounting reports.
  • Review PCE results and explain cost variances.
  • Manage cost accounting for supply chain activities and reporting.
  • Coordinate inventory stock takes and reconcile inventory accounts.
  • Perform cost center reviews, cycle counts, and budgeting support.
  • Support finance transformation, automation, and RPA projects.

About you and this role

As a Senior Controller Coordinator , you will be responsible for delivering high-quality cost accounting support, financial analysis, and reporting services to business stakeholders. In this role, you will oversee critical cost accounting processes, support month-end close activities, manage supply chain accounting requirements, and provide valuable financial insights to support decision-making.

You will collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and continuous process improvements. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about driving operational excellence through automation, standardization, and business partnership.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and support month-end closing activities, including the generation, review, and analysis of global cost accounting reports.
  • Review and analyze Product Cost Estimate (PCE) results and provide insights into cost performance and variances.
  • Manage supply chain cost accounting activities, including cost center accounting, cost allocations, and financial reporting.
  • Coordinate inventory stock take activities, perform reconciliations, and ensure accuracy of inventory accounting processes.
  • Conduct cost center reviews, cycle count assessments, and support annual budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Represent the Cost Accounting team in finance transformation initiatives, process improvement projects, automation efforts, and Robotics Process Automation (RPA) programs.
Qualifications
  • Qualified CA or CMA with a minimum of 2 years of relevant costing or cost accounting experience.
  • Inter CA, Inter CMA, or MBA with 5+ years of accounting and costing experience.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com) or a related discipline with 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, financial controls, inventory accounting, and budgeting processes.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, supply chain, or shared services environment is preferred.
Your Skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement capabilities.
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and related productivity tools.
  • Experience with Power BI, automation tools, and enterprise reporting systems.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and provide solutions to operational and financial challenges.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to act as a trusted business partner.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proactive communication style and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
