Job summary

Dow India is seeking a Controller Coordinator based in Navi Mumbai to provide cost accounting support and reporting to stakeholders. You will handle product cost estimates, GRN/SRN accounting, invoice bookings, accruals, and PO history, partnering with teams to ensure accurate financial data.

The role requires CMA/CA with costing experience or related degree, strong Excel, SAP, Power BI skills, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Qualified CMA/CA or MBA with costing/accounting experience.
• Inter CMA/Inter CA or CMA/CA with 2+ years costing experience.
• B.Com/M.Com or relevant field with costing/accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost accounting support and reporting to stakeholders.
• Generate and review Global Cost reports and Product Cost Estimates (PCE).
• Understand GRN/SRN accounting, invoice booking, accrual entries and PO history.
• Coordinate stock takes and reconcile inventory; document CAEC work processes.
• Maintain and improve work processes or automation as needed.

As a Controller Coordinator based in Navi Mumbai, you will be responsible for providing consistent superior cost accounting support services and reporting to stakeholders. Business Expertise + Job Functional Knowledge Month End Closing – Generate and review reports for Global Cost. Product Cost Estimates (PCE) – Overview of product cost estimates results. Understanding of accounting knowledge specially with respect to GRN/SRN accounting, Invoice booking, accrual entries and purchase order details including purchase order history, passing clearing entries post all follow up and approval Understand the purchase order history and understand accounting flow/difference/mismatch between GRN/SRN and invoice booked against the same Stock Take Observations – Coordinate and reconcile inventory counts using the paper reconciliation process Monitor multiple functional mailboxes and personal e-mail to investigate/respond to inquiries and on-going communications/follow-up with key stakeholders. Create/maintain thorough documentation for CAEC work processes and create/implement work process improvements or automations as needed

Qualifications & Experience:

Qualified CMA/CA - Fresher Inter CMA/Inter CA/MBA with 2+ years of costing and accounting experience B.com/M.com, or a relevant field and/or 4+ year’s of costing and accounting experience is required. Interpersonal Skills: Highly motivated with business interest and desire to act as a business partner Team player with proactive communication style Evaluates analytical or technical problems. Selects solutions based on Standard operating procedures Knowledge of SAP, all MS Apps (Excel, notes, word, Teams & PPT), Automation tools, Power BI and Diamond System reporting tools Fluent in English (written and verbal)

Relocation assistance is not available with this position. The ability to accommodate flexible schedule aligned with international time Zone is essential.
