We're now bringing that same pedagogy to Chess, building a global learning experience that teaches strategy like a language.

Role Overview

As Senior Content Manager – Chess, you’ll lead the strategy, design, and execution of all Chess content at Airlearn.

You will collaborate with Grandmasters, educators, and designers to build a fun, structured, and deeply engaging Chess curriculum for learners worldwide.

What You’ll Do

• Design the complete Chess learning journey – from beginner to advanced.
• Lead lesson and curriculum design aligned with Airlearn’s learning model.
• Manage the creation of lessons, exercises, and multimedia content.
• Collaborate with Chess experts, writers, and product teams.
• Maintain quality, consistency, and engagement across all lessons.
• Use learner data and feedback to iterate on pedagogy and structure.

What We’re Looking For

• 4‑6 years of experience in content strategy, curriculum design, or instructional design.
• Strong understanding of Chess fundamentals, strategies, and pedagogy.
• Excellent writing, editing, and creative storytelling skills.
• Experience leading teams and managing content pipelines.
• Familiarity with gamified or interactive learning platforms.
• Passion for education, learner engagement, and innovation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Chess.com rating 1200‑1300+ (or equivalent practical experience).
• Experience with Chess coaching or digital Chess platforms.
• Background in EdTech or skill‑based content design.
