Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Content Analyst to join the Quality Team. You will collect, review and analyze earnings estimates information from contributors globally and support entry-level Associates in training on data, workflows, and databases.

You will work across shifts (including night shifts) and help ensure the accuracy of content, documentation, and quality standards while using Excel and MS Office to perform regular checks and improve processes.

Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of the content set or similar; quickly learn processes/tools.
  • Analytical and detail oriented in financial markets.
  • Good working knowledge of Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Store contributor data in LSEG databases and run data quality checks.
  • Ensure timely, high-quality production of financial information.
  • Manage content incidents and participate in content-related calls.
  • Collaborate with team leaders to close skill gaps and improve metrics.
  • Consolidate dataset information to establish best practices.
  • Monitor market events to anticipate changes in instruments.

Job description

We at Research & Estimates aim at delivering the most trusted, timely and comprehensive Broker Research & Estimates content, covering real-time and embargoed research as well as Actual, Guidance, consensus and detailed earnings Estimates – to serve both the buy-side and sell-side customers. The Senior Content Analyst role is a critical role within the group, responsible for collecting, reviewing & analyzing earnings estimates information received from contributors around the world on publicly traded companies. Support the training of entry level Associates with regards to product, workflow and databases. This role is within the Quality Team

Responsibilities
  • Ensure information provided by contributor is stored in LSEG databases and is accurately reflected on products by creating or running data quality checks and standards.
  • Ensure the quality and time-efficient production of financial information to LSEG products.
  • Manage Content related incidents, recovery and represent on various calls for the content.
  • Work with team leaders and other senior members to achieve gaps in skills metrics.
  • Consolidate information around the dataset leading to the establishment of best practices.
  • Monitor market events in order to anticipate changes in financial instruments.
  • Impart training to the new joiners and existing analysts on data issues, databases & products.
  • Frequently run automated/semi-automated checks to ensure of high quality of content.
  • Ensure documentation is maintained.
  • Working knowledge on Excel and other MS Office products.
  • Good communication skills (Verbal and written)
  • This role requires the analysts to work on all shifts (including night shifts) and be flexible.
What Do You Need To Bring Competencies
  • Must have a solid understanding of the content set or of a similar content set and an ability to quickly learn the process and tools being used by their team.
  • Understanding of Financial Markets Analytical and detail oriented.
  • Good understanding of at least one of the LSEG products preferably workspace.
  • Good communication skills (Verbal and written).
  • Working knowledge on Excel and other MS Office products.
EDUCATION
  • Bachelor's degree in commerce, Business Management or a related Analytical field.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts is a must.
