London Stock Exchange Group in Bengaluru seeks a Content Analyst to join the Deals Content team. You will collect, maintain, analyze, and disseminate high-quality information on M&A, Public Equity Offerings, and Private Equity, researching sources and ensuring prompt, accurate data delivery.

You will work with the team on day-to-day production tasks, handle content queries, and contribute to projects and cleanses.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Management/Marketing/Accountancy or related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate via phone and email.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with real-time data exchange.

Responsibilities

  • Research, source, and collect information from filings, amendments, press releases, and external news sources.
  • Ensure data quality, timeliness, and completeness per company standards.
  • Understand financial regulations and market practices in relevant markets.
  • Suggest process improvements to the immediate manager.
  • Work independently within the defined area, taking ownership of problems within own area of knowledge.
  • Follow the change control procedures, Content Operations standards, and current data policies and procedures.

Content Analyst Job Description - Content Analyst - Deals & Private Equity, Bangalore

The Content Analyst role is within the Deals Content team responsible for the collection, maintenance, analysis, and dissemination of high-quality information. The role involves providing clients with data on Mergers and Acquisitions, Public Equity Offerings, and Private Equity. The analyst has to research and collect relevant data and ensure the data is provided promptly and accurately. The analyst will be required to support the team in day-to-day production tasks along with handling content queries and other requirements like projects and cleanses. The position is offered on local terms and will require working in shifts. The position will report to the Team Leader, Deals.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Process and maintain data accurately and promptly in databases.
  • To research, source, and collect information from various sources – such as company filings, Amendments, Press Releases, and external news sources.
  • Ensures data quality, accuracy, timeliness, and completeness per company standards for their covered product/market.
  • Basic knowledge of financial regulations and market practices/conventions in relevant markets.
  • Makes recommendations for process improvements to the immediate manager.
  • Works independently within the defined area, taking ownership of problems within own area of knowledge.
  • Follow the change control procedures, Content Operations standards, and current data policies and procedures.
Proficiencies:

Candidate must possess a Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Administration/ Management, Marketing, Accountancy, or any financial-related course. Excellent interpersonal skills and comfortable in using Business Communications over the phone or email. Dexterity to work in a team environment and has excellent interpersonal skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment as clients demand more real-time data exchange. Understand financial statements and be able to explain to managers.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
