Job summary

Thoughtworks in Bangalore, Chennai, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, and Pune is seeking a Senior Workday Consultant with 5+ years of experience in HCM, reporting, and integrations to lead end-to-end Workday solutions. You will engage with senior stakeholders, design scalable HR processes, and deliver reliable Workday configurations across multiple core modules.

The role requires strong technical and functional Workday capabilities, including EIB, RaaS, and security, with a focus on meaningful collaboration

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Workday experience with HCM, reporting, and integrations.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage end-to-end requirements through delivery.
• Experience with EIB, RaaS, and Workday security.

Responsibilities

• Configure, enhance, and support Workday Core HCM, Core Compensation, Absence, and Talent – Performance Management.
• Develop and maintain advanced reports, calculated fields, and integrations using EIB, RaaS, WQL, and integration security.
• Troubleshoot integration failures, production issues, and business process or security-related challenges.
• Support Workday releases, regression testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Engage with senior business stakeholders and HR teams to gather requirements and manage expectations.
• Own requests end to end, including requirement analysis, solution design, testing, implementation, documentation, and resolution.

Job Description

Role Overview: We are looking for an 5+ years Workday Senior Consultant with strong expertise in Workday HCM, reporting, and integrations. The candidate should be capable of independently managing functional and technical requirements, troubleshooting complex issues, and engaging with senior business stakeholders to deliver scalable and reliable Workday solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, enhance, and support Workday Core HCM, Core Compensation, Absence, and Talent – Performance Management.
• Develop and maintain advanced reports, calculated fields, and integrations using EIB (inbound/outbound), RaaS, WQL, and integration security.
• Troubleshoot integration failures, production issues, and business process or security-related challenges.
• Support Workday releases, regression testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Engage with senior business stakeholders and HR teams to gather requirements, clarify business needs, recommend solutions, and manage expectations.
• Own requests end to end, including requirement analysis, solution design, testing, implementation, documentation, and resolution.
• Proactively communicate progress, risks, dependencies, and timelines while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
