Job summary

Apex IT is seeking a Senior Consultant - QA in Bangalore/Remote with 8+ years of experience. The role focuses on leading QA efforts, test planning, defect management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure quality across Oracle Fusion Cloud, OFS, CPQ, CRM, and ERP integrations.

Responsibilities include creating comprehensive test plans, maintaining QA dashboards, and delivering timely QA metrics while mentoring the team.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for diverse stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud products, Oracle Field Services, and architecture.
• Conduct integration testing between B2B, OFS, CPQ and CRM/ERP systems.
• Automation experience with Selenium (Java), Playwright, Postman, SoapUI, and TOSCA for test analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts ensuring thorough coverage.
• Oversee test execution, manage test environments, and ensure adherence to procedures.
• Manage defect reporting, tracking, and resolution with development teams.

• Demonstrate leadership to guide and motivate QA teams.

• Track QA metrics daily/weekly: planned, ready, executed, passed, failed, blocked, pending.
• Provide defect analytics by module, severity, status, age, and business impact.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts, ensuring thorough coverage of requirements and business processes.
• Oversee the execution of tests, manage test environments, and ensure adherence to test procedures.
• Manage defect reporting, tracking, and resolution, working with development teams to fix identified issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure alignment and successful testing.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, communicate test status and findings, and address any issues or concerns.
• Proven ability to lead and manage teams, delegate tasks effectively, and motivate team members.
• Own and drive defect management and QA progress reporting throughout the testing lifecycle, ensuring timely identification, prioritisation, assignment, resolution, and closure of defects.
• Develop and maintain QA dashboards and KPI frameworks to provide clear visibility into overall testing progress and application quality.
• Track and present daily/weekly QA metrics, including test cases planned, ready, executed, passed, failed, blocked, and pending, along with overall execution and pass percentages.
• Provide defect analytics by module, severity/priority, status, age, and business impact, identifying trends and areas requiring immediate attention.
