Job summary

Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP seeks an Associate Automation Test Engineer to join the Quality Engineering team in Bengaluru. The role focuses on Playwright automation using Python, owning end-to-end test design and execution, and ensuring quality outcomes across integrated systems.

The ideal candidate has 5-8 years of automation testing experience, strong QA practices, and hands-on work with Playwright and Python, plus experience with the Page Object Model and Spira for test management.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of Automation Testing experience with basic Manual Testing skills.
• Follow QA standards, testing best practices, and quality processes.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright script design, development, and execution using Python.
• Ability to debug and troubleshoot Playwright automation issues independently.
• Work proactively on Playwright automation, collaborate with SMEs when required, and provide regular updates.
• Take complete ownership of assigned testing activities and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Experience with fixtures, hooks, reusable components, and test data management.

Education Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
