Job summary

Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP in Mumbai is seeking a Senior Consultant in Automation Testing to join the Quality Engineering team. You will validate system behaviour, implement end-to-end automated tests, and own quality outcomes across integrations.

The role targets engineers with 7–8 years of QA experience and strong Playwright know-how. Key requirements include hands-on Playwright automation, UI testing, REST API testing, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines within an Agile/Scrum

Qualifications

• 7–8 years of overall software testing/QA experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright automation.
• Strong understanding of Playwright concepts including Locators, Fixtures, Assertions, Parallel execution, Trace Viewer and debugging.
• Experience with REST API testing and API automation.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and source-control platforms.

Responsibilities

• Join the Quality Engineering team as Associate Automation Test Engineers.
• Translate system behaviour into end-to-end automated tests and ensure quality outcomes.
