Job summary

WSP India (Bengaluru) seeks a Consultant – Proposals to drive high‑quality, compliant proposal content and manage end-to-end bid processes across EoIs, SQs/PQQs, RfPs/ITTs. You will craft executive summaries, project experience, and case studies, coordinating inputs from technical, operational and commercial teams to meet tight submission deadlines.

You will liaise with offshore and local colleagues, apply governance, and support continuous improvement through knowledge management and post‑bid

Qualifications

  • Microsoft Word proficiency.
  • Adobe InDesign proficiency.
  • Experience using document collaboration, review, and content management tools.
  • Familiarity with proposal management systems and document formatting tools is desirable.

  • Qualifications
  • Degree-level qualification in a relevant subject (e.g. business, communications or similar) with 5–8 years’ experience in a work-winning role
  • APMP Foundation certification (preferred but not essential)

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate end-to-end proposal development across EoIs, SQs/PQQs, RfPs/ITTs; create opportunity briefing packs, bid programmes, and first draft responses.
  • Draft, edit, and tailor proposal content such as executive summaries, project experience and case studies, CVs and capability statements.
  • Coordinate inputs from technical, operational, and commercial stakeholders to meet submission deadlines.
  • Coordinate bid programme adherence and liaise with proposal team members across geographies.
  • Receive, review and distribute client requirements, clarifications and evaluation criteria to ensure compliant responses.
  • Apply and adhere to governance processes and conduct research on clients and competitors.
  • Manage opportunity MS Teams sites, version control and support draft, review and final stages.
  • Support quality assurance processes, addressing reviewer comments and improving clarity and consistency.
  • Ensure proposal documents are client-focused and aligned with win themes.
  • Create, apply and maintain proposal templates, branding and document standards.
  • Contribute to post bid reviews, lessons learned, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Support maintenance of work winning content in Bid Knowledge Library.

Job description

The Consultant – Proposals supports the development and delivery of high‑quality, compliant, and compelling proposals in response to client opportunities.

Working collaboratively with Proposal Managers, technical specialists, and commercial teams, the role supports both the capture and convert phases of the work winning lifecycle. The role applies WSP work winning governance by supporting pipeline management and reporting, coordinating processes, schedules and inputs. The role also contributes to the development of high-quality written and visual proposal content. In addition, it drives continuous improvement through knowledge management best practices and structured review and feedback processes.

This role plays a key part in strengthening proposal quality, consistency, and efficiency, supporting the organisation’s strategic growth objectives.

  • Ensure proposal documents are clear, client focused, and aligned with agreed win themes.
  • Create, apply and maintain proposal templates, branding, and document standards.
  • Contribute to post bid reviews, lessons learned, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Support the maintenance of work winning content in Bid Knowledge Library including updating and submitting new content at bid breakdown stage.
Qualifications
