Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Senior Consultant in Bangalore/Gurgaon/Pune for a hybrid role focusing on patient analytics and large healthcare data projects. The candidate will deliver end-to-end PLD projects, lead client-facing engagements, and contribute to business development through proposals and capability building.

Ideal candidates have 6–9 years of relevant experience, strong SQL/Excel/PPT skills, and experience with RWD datasets, along with excellent communication and stakeholder management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s preferred.
• 6-9 years of relevant experience for Senior Consultant.
• Knowledge of consulting methods and client management.
• Experience with large healthcare datasets is essential.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver end-to-end PLD projects with quality and timeliness.
• Manipulate and analyze large healthcare datasets (RWD, claims, EMR).
• Develop sources of business patterns and clinical pathways in PLD.
• Create reproducible workflows, QC processes and documentation.
• Collaborate with onshore teams/clients and communicate insights clearly.
• Contribute to capability building and best-practice frameworks in PLD.
• Lead problem solving, timeline estimation and workload planning.
• Translate processed data into client-ready slides and insights.
• When acting as Project Manager, manage timelines and client communications.

Job Description Summary

Job Overview

Delivers high quality, timely input to life sciences client engagements, spanning structured analysis to development of complex solutions. Leads end-to-end execution of small to large projects, coordinating across cross functional teams and stakeholders. Serves as a key client facing resource, managing ongoing interactions and ensuring delivery excellence. Actively contributes to business development through proposal development and capability building initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and deliver end to end PLD projects, ensuring high quality, timeliness, and methodological accuracy
• Manipulate and analyze large RWD datasets (LRx, claims, EMR, prescription, etc.)
• Develop Source of Business (New, Switch pattern, NBRx, TRx patients), treatment pathway, treatment journey, comedication, persistence/compliance and related PLD metrics
• Create reproducible workflows, QC processes, and documentation
• Collaborate directly with onshore teams/clients, communicating insights clearly and proactively
• Contribute to capability building, methodological enhancements, and best practice frameworks within PLD
• Lead problem solving, timeline estimation, and workload planning and proposal development.
• Ability to generate actionable insights from processed LRx data and translate them into clear, client ready slides
• When acting as Project Manager, proactively manages project timelines and manages day to day communication with the client and team members.
