Qualifications

• 9-12 years of progressive experience in Java application development.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
• Deep understanding of Java 8+ features, OO design, data structures, algorithms, and concurrency.
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-performance Java applications and services.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews.
• Define system architecture and technical designs aligned with business needs.

The Senior Java Developer will play a critical role in the design, development, and implementation of complex enterprise-level applications and services. This individual will be responsible for writing high-quality code, ensuring best practices are followed, and providing technical guidance to junior team members. With 9-12 years of progressive experience, the Senior Java Developer will be a key contributor to architectural discussions, system design, and the continuous improvement of our software development processes.

• Key Responsibilities: Software Development: Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure Java applications and services using established software development methodologies.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical expertise and mentorship to less experienced developers, conducting code reviews, and fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
• System Design Architecture: Collaborate with architects and other senior developers to define system architecture, technical designs, and solutions that align with business requirements and enterprise standards.
• Problem Solving: Analyze and resolve complex technical issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing effective solutions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product owners, business analysts, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, define scope, and deliver high-quality software on time.
• Code Quality Best Practices: Ensure adherence to coding standards, architectural patterns, security best practices, and performance optimization techniques. Actively participate in promoting clean code, test-driven development (TDD), and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, API documentation, and system diagrams.
• Innovation Research: Stay abreast of new technologies, industry trends, and best practices in Java development and related domains, evaluating and recommending tools and technologies to improve our systems.

• Experience: 9-12 years of progressive experience in Java application development.
• Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
• Core Java Expertise: Deep understanding of Java 8+ features, object-oriented design principles, data structures, algorithms, and concurrency.
• Frameworks: Extensive experience with modern Java frameworks such as Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Web Technologies: Proficient in developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Database Skills: Strong experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) including complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database optimization. Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) is a plus.
• Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including deploying and managing applications within cloud environments.
• Containerization Orchestration: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Version Control: Expert level proficiency with Git (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
• CI/CD: Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Testing: Strong understanding of various testing methodologies (unit, integration, end-to-end) and experience with testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito).
• Messaging Systems (Preferred): Experience with message brokers like Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ for event-driven architectures.
• Front-end Experience (Optional but a plus): Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Vue.js) is beneficial for full-stack collaboration.
• Healthcare Domain (Preferred): Experience working in the healthcare industry and familiarity with healthcare data standards (e.g., FHIR, HL7) is a significant advantage.
