Job summary

Bristlecone is seeking a Senior Consultant SAP CPI to lead implementation, migration, and support for SAP CPI/BTP IS projects. The role involves architecting CPI solutions, mentoring the CPI team, and collaborating with Delivery teams to grow Bristlecone’s technical footprint globally.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in SAP PI/PO with 3+ years in CPI, completed multiple end-to-end implementations, and strong knowledge of SAP Integration Suite components; certifications are advantageous.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in SAP PI/PO with 3+ years in CPI
• At least 3 end-to-end implementations and migrations
• Experience with SAP Integration Suite components is a plus
• Good to have certification on SAP CPI
• Experience with other middleware like Mulesoft, SAP CPI-DS would be advantageous

The Senior Consultant SAP CPI is a critical role related to implementation/migration/support for SAP Cloud Platorm Integration(CPI) or BTP IS projects.

The following are key responsibilities

Architecting, designing and helping successful implementations of SAP CPI projects in customer organizations.

Liaising with Delivery Teams to help grow the Business around upcoming technical features in line with Organizational strategy and goals.

Mentoring Junior CPI Team members within the Organization.

Drive with building Assets and Accelerators in SAP CPI/PI and other niche technical areas.

Ability to devise and lead Go To Market strategies to assist Sales and Alliance teams in expanding Bristlecone’s Technical footprint globally.

Build Assets and Accelerators to reduce the overall cost to serve.

Qualifications And Experience

6 plus years of experience in SAP PI/PO of which 3 plus yrs in SAP CPI

At least 3 end to end implementations and migration projects, not including rollouts

Knowledge and experience in SAP Integration Suite (API Management, Open Connectors, Event Mesh, TPM, Integration Advisor) is nice to have

Good to have Certification on SAP Cloud Platform Integration

Experience in other middleware technologies like Mulesoft,Dellbhoomi,SAP CPI-DS would be an added advantage

PROCESS KNOWLEDGE

Sound understanding of one end to end processes like MM, PP, SD, Supply Chain etc.

Expertise in at-least one industry e.g. Manufacturing, Automotive, Chemical, Life Sciences etc.

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE

• Expertise in integration of SAP and non-SAP systems in A2A and B2B scenarios using SAP CPI, using both synchronous and asynchronous communication end to end interfaces.
• Experience in Analysing the CPI Job Trace, Error & Monitor logs
• Experience in integration SFSF/SFDC/C4C/Hybris/Ariba and other third-party products.
• Must have capability to analyse business and technical requirements; and develop solutions to address the requirements
• In-depth knowledge in pallet functions available in CPI and mapping objects.
• Scripting languages - Groovy or Java scripts to develop custom scripts in the iflow.
• Good to have experience in XSLT coding.
• Experience in configuring adapters like IDOC, SFTP, SOAP, REST, ODATA, HTTP/S, Mail, JDBC, FTP and SuccessFactors using SAP CPI.
• Good to have certification on SAP Cloud Platform Integration.
• Exposure to SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) and SAP Integration Suite offerings would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of CPEA, CPI and sub accounts provisioning in CPEA.
• Should be able to work independently.
