Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a Senior Consultant in Bangalore to execute CCAR and CECL models using SAS and Python. The role focuses on data analysis, risk reporting, and end-to-end testing across Credit Risk, Analytics, and IT teams.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience with SQL, SAS, and Python, and will drive automation and platform upgrades, including cloud initiatives where applicable.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background with 10+ years of experience in SQL, SAS, Python, data visualization tools and reporting platforms.
• Experience in system testing and production support within Credit Risk or Regulatory Reporting domains.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with ability to work with IT, Analytics and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between Credit Risk, Analytics, Reporting, and IT to discuss technical issues and drive enhancements.
• Lead end-to-end SIT/UAT/regression testing for data feeds, reporting, and platform upgrades.
• Coordinate environment setup, access management, releases, and validation across dev, test, and prod.
• Perform data analysis and reconciliation to identify root causes of reporting discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.
