Job summary

AstraZeneca in Chennai is seeking a Senior Consultant - Business Systems Analyst with Coupa expertise to drive a global S/4HANA Finance transformation. You will apply business analysis techniques, lead delivery, and ensure alignment with business objectives across processes and data designs.

The role requires coupling Coupa capabilities with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Activate knowledge, and leadership across agile or waterfall delivery.

Qualifications

What you’ll do

• Business Analysis Leadership: Apply business analysis techniques and lead delivery within a global S/4HANA Finance transformation, ensuring solutions align with clear business objectives.
• Finance Capability Design: Be responsible for the design of Finance capabilities, enable seamless delivery across releases, and lead solution remediation to protect process integrity and performance.
• SAP Best Practice and Architecture: Ensure compliance with SAP best practices, maintain integrated architecture standards, and implement robust, compliant data designs that endure.
• Planning and Risk Management: Assist in project planning, proactively handle risks and interdependencies, and keep delivery on time and on budget.
• Delivery Methodologies: Organise and implement project activities using Agile or Waterfall approaches, including SAP Activate, selecting the right tool for the outcome.
• Multi-functional Solution Design: Partner with the IT Design Team to produce solution designs that meet business and multi-functional requirements without fragmenting standards.
• Global Process Alignment: Engage with Enterprise Process Owners to define IT solutions that align to standardised global processes and deliver consistent outcomes.
• Finance Process Design and Integration: Lead Finance process design during global definition, ensuring deep integration with SAP solutions and related data objects.
• Standards Development and Testing: Develop and test global standard solutions, and bring designs through governance forums and frameworks to ensure adoption and quality.
• Product and Design Integration: Work with IT Business Analysts, Product Managers, and design experts to ensure global designs are coherent, scalable, and integrated.
• Innovation with External Experts: Collaborate with partner SME to bring the best of technology and standard approaches into our solutions.
• Strategic Design Forums: Participate in cross-functional design forums to align global designs with strategic business goals and system architecture.
• Localisation within Standards: Address localisation needs during deployment while safeguarding global standardisation and maintainability.
• Documentation and Enablement: Create clear solution designs, maintain high-quality project documentation, and deliver training on relevant tools and technologies.
• Coupa Solution and Process Expertise: Apply hands-on Coupa experience to analyse, design, and support Coupa-enabled procurement and invoicing capabilities integrated with SAP S/4HANA.
• P2P and Accounts Payable Process Leadership: Bring strong end-to-end business process understanding across Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Accounts Payable (AP), including requisitioning, purchasing, goods receipt, invoicing, matching, approvals, and payment-related dependencies.
