Job summary

SymphonyAI in Bengaluru, India seeks a Senior Consultant — BI, Reporting & Analytics — to design, develop, and maintain the reporting layer of our Symphony GOLD managed-services operation across multiple geographies. You will own critical dashboards and ETL pipelines to integrate GOLD data into the enterprise data warehouse.

The role requires expert Power BI capabilities, strong SQL and data modeling skills, and the ability to work across time zones including Asia hours.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of enterprise retail systems experience, including GOLD or equivalent SCM solution.
• Expert-level Power BI development and BI solution design for internal and customer-facing use.
• Data Warehouse architecture and ETL development experience with strong data modeling.
• Advanced SQL over large datasets with performance optimization.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Consultant — a Power BI and Business Intelligence expert — to design, develop, and maintain the reporting and analytics layer of our Symphony GOLD managed-services operation, alongside multi-geography managed-services delivery. The consultant owns business-critical reporting assets: executive KPI dashboards for a tier-1 Nordic grocer, daily operational KPI dashboards for a tier-1 Spanish grocer, and the GOLD license-compliance reporting used by management and customers. The role integrates GOLD operational data into the enterprise Data Warehouse through ETL pipelines, automates reporting for near-real-time visibility, and additionally operates a multi-geography GOLD managed-services portfolio (6-8 concurrent accounts, including Asia-hours coverage).

Key Responsibilities

• BI & Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain Power BI solutions for internal teams and customer-facing reporting.
• Own executive and operational KPI dashboards: service monitoring, KPI tracking, trend analysis, customer visibility.
• Deliver daily operational insights supporting proactive service management for tier-1 grocery accounts.
• Develop automated reporting that reduces manual effort and provides near-real-time operational visibility.
• Data Engineering: Collect, transform, and integrate GOLD operational data into the enterprise Data Warehouse.
• Build and maintain ETL processes, data models, and SQL transformations for accurate, high-performance reporting.
• Integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring consistency, quality, and governance; investigate data discrepancies.
• License Compliance Reporting: Develop and maintain GOLD license-utilization and compliance dashboards for management and customers.
• Managed Services Operations: Deliver managed services across a concurrent multi-geography GOLD account portfolio under differing SLAs, including L&S managed-services activities and cloud support set-up tasks.
• Align working windows to account time zones, including recurring Asia-hours coverage.
• Work with business stakeholders, Managed Services, project teams, and customers to translate business requirements into meaningful analytics.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of enterprise retail systems experience with 4+ years on Symphony GOLD or an equivalent renowned, market-established and referenceable SCM solution in managed-services mode.
• Expert-level Power BI development and BI solution design for internal and customer-facing use.
• Data Warehouse architecture and ETL development experience; strong data modeling.
• Advanced SQL over large operational and business datasets, including validation and performance optimization.
• Platform license-compliance reporting experience (Symphony GOLD or equivalent).
• Ownership of business-critical KPI dashboards for tier-1 international retailers.
• Demonstrated concurrent operation of 6+ GOLD accounts across multiple geographies and time zones.
• Fluent English; stakeholder-facing requirements translation; time-zone flexibility including Asia hours.

Preferred Qualifications

• Slovene language for regional collaboration.
• Experience with subscription-model accounts where services scope is contractually constrained.
• Cloud support set-up experience (environment preparation, monitoring).
