Job summary

NTT DATA Global Delivery Services Ltd. seeks a Industry Consulting Snr. Consultant in Hyderabad to lead automation testing efforts in a global Agile Scrum setup. You will drive test automation using BDD/Cucumber, API and frontend Selenium, and help shape automation frameworks.

The role requires 6+ years of automation testing experience, strong CI/CD, and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure quality releases in a hybrid work environment in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of automation testing experience.
• Strong experience with test automation using BDD/Cucumber.
• Proficient in API test automation.
• Front-end automation with Selenium.
• Experience creating and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Proficient in SQL.
• Experience with Jira or similar tools.
• Hands-on with CI/CD integration.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation testing efforts within a global Agile Scrum team.
• Design and implement automated test strategies and plans.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and test data.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for frequent releases.
• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to co-create value.
• Ensure test conditions and expected results are accurate and traceable.
• Track fixes and features in JIRA or similar tools.
• Perform day-to-day automated functional testing to meet commitments.

We are currently seeking a Industry Consulting Snr. Consultant to join our team in Hyderabad, Telangana (IN-TG), India (IN).

Automation tester Location: Noida/Gurgaon/ Hyderbad (Hybrid)

Key responsibilities include

• Overall Experience of 6+ years in Automation Testing.
• Strong experience with Test Automation using BDD/Cucumber
• Skilled with API Test Automation
• Experienced with Front End Test Automation using Selenium
• Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to enable frequent and reliable releases.
• Evaluate requirements and define testing objectives and approaches while working in a global Agile Scrum team.
• Proactively seek opportunities to form partnerships with the customers and stakeholders to co-create value for the company.
• Ensure the Test Conditions and Expected Results are complete and accurate.
• Demonstrable experience in tracking fixes and features in JIRA or similar configuration management tool.
• Perform day-to-day automated functional testing activities to ensure that the current commitments are achieved while improvements are being made.

Key Qualifications and Skills

• Strong experience with Test Automation using BDD/Cucumber
• Experience with API Test Automation using Rest Assured, Swagger etc.
• Experienced with Front End Test Automation using Selenium
• Experience with creation and maintenance of Automation Framework
• Skilled in scripting/good knowledge and understanding with one of the following programming languages: Java, Java Script, Python etc.
• Good SQL knowledge.
• Experienced with Github/Gitlab
• Expertise in test planning, writing test cases/scripts
• Come up with test strategies and test plans for new and existing features
• Solid understanding and experience with agile software development methodologies and the practices derived from it.
• Derive test conditions and expected results from requirements & user stories.
