The ideal candidate has 5+ years in test automation with Selenium/Playwright/Cypress and 3+ years in API testing plus CI/CD experience using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in test automation using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• 4+ years in automation framework development with Java, C#, or Python.
• 3+ years API testing with Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI.
• 3+ years integrating automated tests with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web, API, and enterprise apps.
• Develop and execute automated tests for functional, regression, integration, and smoke tests.
• Collaborate with Dev, BA, and PO to define test strategies and requirements.
• Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Perform defect analysis and coordinate with teams for issue resolution.
• Create reusable utilities and manage test data workflows.
• Execute API tests and validate backend integrations.
• Participate in code reviews, test planning, and agile ceremonies.
• Monitor test execution and prepare reports with quality improvement recommendations.

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Tech Consultant – QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in functional, regression, API, and UI automation testing using modern automation tools and frameworks. The role involves collaborating with development, business, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality software delivery through continuous testing and automation.

Day to Day Job Duties

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web, API, and enterprise applications.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing.
• Collaborate with developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners to understand requirements and define test strategies.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
• Perform defect analysis, root cause identification, and collaborate with development teams for issue resolution.
• Develop and maintain reusable automation utilities and test data management processes.
• Execute API testing using REST-based services and validate backend integrations.
• Participate in code reviews, test planning, sprint ceremonies, and release activities.
• Monitor test execution, prepare test reports, and recommend quality improvements.
• Ensure adherence to QA best practices, coding standards, and Agile methodologies.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience intest automationusingSelenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• 4+ years of experience inJava, C#, or Pythonfor automation framework development.
• 3+ years of experience inAPI testingusingPostman, REST Assured, or SoapUI.
• 3+ years of experience integrating automated tests withCI/CD toolssuch asJenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.

Nice to Have

• Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or SpecFlow.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases for backend validation.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and test management tools such as qTest, TestRail, or ALM.
• ISTQB certification or other software testing certifications.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum and DevOps environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
