Job summary

Armanino India LLP is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage monthly to annual financial statements for the management company and affiliated entities. The role emphasizes GAAP compliance, GL oversight, and cross-functional collaboration across operations, legal, and investor relations.

You will support budgeting, forecasting, and tax processes, liaise with external advisors, and contribute to process improvements and system implementations to enhance efficiency and scalability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CA designation preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in asset management, hedge funds, or financial services.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and investment management accounting.
• Proficiency in Workday and Excel.
• Exposure to automation tools (UiPath, Blue Prism, MS Power Automate) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management company and affiliates.
• Manage general ledger activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable and expense allocations across entities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis; assist tax filings with external advisors.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and maintain internal controls; collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the management company and affiliated entities.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
• Assist with tax filings and liaise with external tax advisors and auditors.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and other applicable accounting standards.
• Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting policies.
• Collaborate with operations, legal, and investor relations teams to support cross-functional initiatives.
• Participate in system implementations and process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Chartered Accountant designation preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally within asset management, hedge funds, or financial services.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and investment management accounting.
• Proficiency in accounting software Workday and Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
• Exposure to Automation tools like UiPath, Blue Prism & MS Power Automate will be given preference.
