Job summary

Armanino India LLP seeks an experienced Chartered Accountant with 10+ years of leadership in accounting. You will oversee end-to-end accounting operations, drive client KPI achievement, and mentor a growing India team. The role emphasizes policy development, process improvement, and cross-border liaison with the US team.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (or equivalent) with 10+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulatory standards.
• Experience with ERP systems (D365, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks) and client-facing accounting environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all aspects of accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, and financial reporting for client engagements.
• Lead client calls on deliverables, KPIs and updates as needed.
• Accountable for India team meeting client KPIs and driving continuous improvement.
• Mentor and develop accounting professionals, fostering collaboration and accountability.
• Develop and implement accounting policies to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes with timely reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and liaise with US team on engagements.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to drive process improvements.
• Foster relationships with clients and provide proactive financial insights.
• Support internal/external audits and regulatory compliance.

This open position is for Armanino India LLP. Armanino India LLP is a fully owned subsidiary of Armanino (USA).

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting for client(s).
• Lead calls with clients on deliverables, KPIs and other updates as needed.
• Accountable for India team meeting all the client KPIs.
• Mentor, coach, and develop a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement innovative accounting policies, procedures, and controls to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives, financial planning, and business growth opportunities.
• Liaison with US team on client engagements.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies, and leverage this knowledge to drive process improvements and innovation.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, providing proactive financial insights and solutions to meet their evolving needs.
• Support internal and external audit processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant, or equivalent qualification preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with a proven track record of leadership and managerial excellence.
• Deep knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations, with experience in a client-service or public accounting environment preferred.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., D365, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks), with a focus on leveraging technology to drive efficiency and innovation.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence.
• Strategic mindset with a focus on driving business growth, client satisfaction, and operational excellence.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with a passion for learning, adaptability, and innovation.
