Job summary

The Blue Venture Fund is seeking a Splunk Engineer to design, build, and optimize dashboards, reports, and alerts using Splunk. You will manage integrations and forwarders while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements.

Look for 4+ years of Splunk experience, strong Admin skills, and proficiency in Python, PowerShell, Regex, and SQL. Healthcare domain familiarity is a plus as is working in Agile/Scrum teams.

Responsibilities

• Participate in dashboard requirement discussions with business stakeholders.
• Develop solution designs and implementation approaches based on business needs.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts to understand functional requirements and clarify specifications.
• Support the creation of functional breakdown structures and technical task planning.
• Provide effort estimates for assigned features and enhancements.
• Guide and mentor development team members on Splunk best practices.
• Design, develop, and implement Splunk dashboards, reports, and alerts.
• Configure and manage Splunk forwarders, integrations, and custom scripts.
• Conduct peer reviews and ensure adherence to coding and development standards.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Identify and implement performance improvements and optimization opportunities.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge repositories.
• Support knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team.
