Job summary

Blackbaud India is seeking a Sr. Security Engineer to design and scale secure cloud solutions across Blackbaud platforms.

You will strengthen cloud security posture, build secure integrations, and collaborate with engineering, IT and data protection teams to improve security and user experience. The role requires expertise in AWS/Azure, IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation/ARM/Bicep), cloud networking, IAM/Zero Trust, and scripting for CI/CD, monitoring, and incident response.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cloud, infrastructure, DevOps, platform, or security engineering.
• 4+ years with AWS and/or Azure.
• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM/Bicep.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking (VPC/VNet, DNS, load balancers, firewalls, etc.).
• Knowledge of IAM, zero trust, and secure cloud design patterns.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python/PowerShell/Bash) and CI/CD automation, monitoring, and secrets management.

About The Role

We’re looking for a curious, collaborative, and impact‑driven Sr. Security Engineer to help strengthen and scale our cloud security capabilities. What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of experience in cloud, infrastructure, DevOps, platform, or security engineering, including 4+ years with AWS and/or Azure
• Experience in cloud security architecture and infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM/Bicep
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, including VPC/VNet, DNS, load balancers, firewalls, routing, and private connectivity
• Understanding of identity and access management, zero trust principles, and secure cloud design patterns
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash, along with CI/CD automation, monitoring, and secrets management tools
