Job summary

Capgemini in Hyderabad seeks an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure. You will build CI/CD pipelines, deploy Kubernetes workloads on EKS, and lead cloud migrations to AWS.

You will collaborate with security, development, and infrastructure teams to ensure high availability, implement IaC with Terraform, and apply networking best practices across VPCs, VPNs, and load balancers.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in AWS Cloud, Kubernetes (EKS), Terraform, Cloud Migration, and Networking. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience in designing, automating, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and supporting enterprise cloud transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
• Deploy, administer, and optimize Kubernetes workloads on Amazon EKS.
• Lead and support application and infrastructure migrations from on‑premises or other cloud platforms to AWS.
• Configure and troubleshoot AWS networking components including VPC, Transit Gateway, Route 53, VPN, Security Groups, NACLs, and Load Balancers.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with AWS services such as EC2, EKS, VPC, IAM, S3, Route53, CloudWatch, and ELB.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
• Expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code concepts.
• Experience in cloud migration and modernization projects.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, DNS, VPN, routing, and cloud security.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
• Scripting knowledge in Shell, Python, or similar languages.

Preferred:

• AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer).
• Experience with Helm, ArgoCD, Ansible, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Exposure to multi‑cloud environments and DevSecOps practices.
