Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy invites applications for a Civil Site Engineer to lead industrial projects, supervise day-to-day civil works, and ensure execution as per drawings, specs, and safety norms.

You will review drawings, prepare and verify BOQs, monitor contractor activities, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, and maintain site records and progress reports.

Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, project planning tools, and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial buildings, yard development, or large-scale infra projects.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and billing verification.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and project planning tools.

Responsibilities

• Preparation, verification, and finalization of detailed civil BOQs, quantity estimation, rate analysis, SOWs, and tender documents.
• Day-to-day site supervision and monitoring of civil activities and complex civil works.
• Ensuring execution as per approved drawings, technical specifications, method statements, and safety norms.
• Technical review of drawings, shop drawings, and related documentation.
• Monitoring contractor activities, workmanship, and overall work quality.
• Leading and guiding junior engineers, supervisors, and contractors.
• Conducting inspections, resolving site technical issues, and ensuring corrective actions.
• Coordination with Electrical, Mechanical, Safety, and other multi-disciplinary teams for smooth execution and scheduling.
• Maintaining site records, measurements, daily progress reports, and documentation.
• Assisting in preparation of inspection reports and technical documentation.
• Verification of contractor bills, measurements, and reconciliation of quantities.
• Preparing MIS reports and progress updates for management review.
