Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy is seeking an experienced Civil Site Engineer to lead on-site activities for large-scale infra projects in Bengaluru. You will prepare and verify detailed BOQs, perform rate analyses, review drawings, and ensure execution per specs and safety norms.

You will supervise teams, resolve technical issues, and generate progress reports for management. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Preparation, verification, and finalization of detailed civil BOQs, quantity estimation, rate analysis, SOWs, and tender documents.
• Site supervision and monitoring of civil activities and complex works.
• Ensure execution per drawings, specs, method statements and safety norms.
• Technical review of drawings and shop drawings.
• Monitor contractor activities, workmanship, and quality.
• Lead and guide junior engineers, supervisors, and contractors.
• Conduct inspections, resolve site issues and drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Electrical, Mechanical, Safety and other teams for scheduling.
• Maintain site records, measurements, daily progress reports, and documentation.
• Assist in inspection reports and technical documentation.
• Verify contractor bills, measurements, and reconcile quantities.
• Prepare MIS reports and progress updates for management.

Role & responsibilities:

• Preparation, verification, and finalization of detailed civil BOQs, quantity estimation, rate analysis, SOWs, and tender documents.
• Day-to-day site supervision and monitoring of civil activities and complex civil works.
• Ensuring execution as per approved drawings, technical specifications, method statements, and safety norms.
• Technical review of drawings, shop drawings, and related documentation.
• Monitoring contractor activities, workmanship, and overall work quality.
• Leading and guiding junior engineers, supervisors, and contractors.
• Conducting inspections, resolving site technical issues, and ensuring corrective actions.
