Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. in Bengaluru seeks a Celonis Coe Domain Lead to design and maintain data pipelines, model end-to-end processes, and integrate information from ERP/CRM systems into Celonis for robust process insights.

You will collaborate with IT, Process Excellence, Operations, and Value Engineers to enable Celonis as a trusted analytics foundation for continuous improvement and performance optimization across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer with strong ETL, data modeling, and pipeline development.
• Minimum 2 years hands-on Celonis experience (data integration, modeling, views, action flows).
• Experience with large-scale ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle; strong domain knowledge in at least one SAP module preferred.
• Strong SQL proficiency and experience with major relational databases.
• Hands-on scripting experience (Python or JavaScript) for automation and data transformation.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing, ETL tools, and enterprise data flows.
• Familiarity with cloud environments and data orchestration concepts is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail in data validation and debugging.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to work with cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality outputs in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Data Pipeline Engineering: Design, build, and maintain reliable ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from ERP, CRM, and other enterprise systems into Celonis, ensuring stability, accuracy, and scalability.
• Data Modeling: Develop optimized data models within Celonis to reflect end‑to‑end business processes, enabling advanced process mining, root‑cause analysis, and automation opportunities.
• Integration Ownership: Collaborate with IT and application owners to integrate data from SAP, Oracle, databases, and other platforms into Celonis, ensuring seamless connectivity and data flow aligned with architectural standards.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and improve the performance of Celonis data models and pipelines, addressing bottlenecks and implementing best practices to support long‑term scalability.

Your Background
