Job summary

GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group Company, is seeking a QA Automation Engineer/SDET to drive automation across IoT and mobile apps. The role requires hands-on testing, strong Python and C#, Robot Framework, and Appium skills, with exposure to Jenkins, Docker, and Git in a fast-paced environment.

Location includes Bangalore and Noida with opportunities for collaboration across global centers. Master’s degree preferred and 5+ years of experience in QA automation are desirable.

• Hands-On experience working as a QA automation engineer
• Advanced programming skills including automation systems and databases
• Experience with Python and C# and testing frameworks – Robot Framework and Appium
• Experience in IoT and/or embedded devices and/or Mobile App experience
• Experience with software test methodologies, test planning, test automation, test tooling, and quality standards and metrics
• Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologies
• Experience in JIRA and Confluence
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins/Docker/Git
• Strong experience with test automation and load testing tools
• Hands-on experience of automation of tests and monitoring and correcting them periodically
• Strong experience in Python and C# programming – Mandatory
• Experience in Appium and Robot Framework – Mandatory
• Very Strong experience in automation Test Optimization
• Experience with android/iOS devices test automation
• Strong organizational skills and ability to track multiple tasks in fast-paced environment
• Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting/diagnostic skill
