Mindbowser Inc. is seeking a senior Business Analyst to bridge business and tech teams in the US healthcare domain. You will analyze processes, gather requirements, and help optimize payer-related healthcare products and services.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years of BA experience in US healthcare, strong knowledge of CMS-1500/UB-04, EHR workflows, and interoperability standards. Agile practice and stakeholder communication are essential.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years as a Business Analyst in the US Healthcare domain.
  • Strong understanding of payer workflows, data standards and regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience in requirements gathering, BRDs and FRDs, and user story management.
  • Ability to liaise between business stakeholders and technical teams in an Agile setup.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as liaison between clients and the organization to address healthcare IT needs.
  • Analyze client requirements and translate them into comprehensive solutions.
  • Conduct gap analyses and map existing and future workflows.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and UX designers.
  • Perform feasibility studies on proposed solutions with a focus on technical feasibility and scalability.
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations to articulate healthcare IT benefits.
  • Support market and competitive analysis for product roadmap planning.
  • Assist in data analysis and reporting using healthcare data formats (HL7, FHIR, EDI).
  • Stay informed on US healthcare IT trends to inform sales and marketing efforts.
  • Provide domain-driven insights to ensure successful delivery and implementation.

Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Business Analyst with strongexperience in the U.S. healthcare domain, spanning one vertical such as Payer.

The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze businessprocesses, gather and define requirements, and contribute to the optimization of healthcareproducts and services. You will play a key role in bridging the gap between businessstakeholders and technical teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives.

A strong understanding of Payer workflows, data standards, and regulatory frameworks is

essential. This role requires excellent communication, analytical, and documentation skills,

comfort working in an Agile environment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a

fast-paced setting.

This position offers exposure to cutting-edge healthcare technologies and the opportunity to

collaborate with domain leaders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients and the organization, leveraging healthcare domain expertise to understand and address healthcare IT needs effectively.

  • Stay informed about trends, developments, and innovations in the US healthcare ITlandscape and incorporate insights into sales and marketing efforts.
  • Support project teams with domain-driven insights to ensure successful delivery andimplementation of healthcare IT solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to existing customers based one evolving client needs and challenges.
Mandatory Requirements:
  • Demonstrated expertise in US Healthcare IT, specifically within the Payer market.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the US Healthcare Domain(mandatory).
  • Strong understanding & Experience in:
    • CMS-1500 and UB-04 claim forms
    • EHR Workflows or Clearing House Workflows
  • Understanding of:
    • CMS-1500 and UB-04 claim forms
    • EHR Workflows or Clearing House Workflows
  • Hands-on experience with healthcare interoperability and data exchangestandards, including:
    • EDI X12 Transactions
    • Other healthcare data standards (mandatory)
  • In-depth understanding of healthcare systems, business processes, andregulatory requirements, including:
    • Healthcare data privacy and security best practices
  • Proven experience in:
    • Requirements gathering and analysis
    • Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
    • Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs)
    • User Story creation and management
    • Stakeholder communication and requirement elicitation
  • Hands-on experience with business analysis and collaboration tools such as:
Good to Have:
  • Proficiency in healthcare operational workflows and familiarity with EHR/EMR systemssuch as Epic, Athena, Cerner etc.
  • Knowledge of value-based care, HEDIS measures, or care coordination workflows
  • Understanding of the SMART on FHIR framework
  • Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, or healthcare domain certifications
