Moody’s Bangalore office is seeking a quantitative analyst with a strong background in modeling and credit risk to join the Modeling & Quantitative Analytics Group. The role involves developing, documenting, and maintaining rating models and scorecards, and drafting requirements for end-to-end processes.
You will train teams and respond to regulatory requests as needed. You will mentor junior analysts and coordinate software updates for approval, contributing to Moody’s robust risk analytics

Our Credit Strategy and Standards – Modelling & Quantitative Analytics / Design and Analytics team is responsible for the development and maintenance of credit rating models used in the rating process.
We contribute to Moody’s by designing and implementing robust quantitative model logic, ensuring consistency and comparability across the modelling suite, and strengthening analytical capabilities as we grow our team presence in Bangalore. Our team combines quantitative modelling expertise with strong business analysis capabilities, working across the full model lifecycle from requirements and business logic specification through implementation, testing, release, training, and user support. We partner closely with methodology, verification, technology, and rating teams to deliver high-quality analytical solutions and drive continuous process improvement.
