Job summary

Iris Software Noida is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead requirements engineering and documentation for complex initiatives. You will define BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria, collaborating with development and QA teams to ensure clear, testable specifications.

You'll facilitate workshops, govern requirement management, and mentor junior analysts, driving value through structured analysis and AI-assisted techniques while aligning with business goals.

Qualifications

• BRD Creation: framing business requirements in BRDs and validating with stakeholders.
• User Story Writing: capturing user needs as clear stories with acceptance criteria.
• FRD Creation: documenting functional and non-functional requirements in FRDs.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation across complex business initiatives.
• Define BRDs, FRDs, Epics, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and functional specs.
• Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder discussions to identify and validate needs.
• Define requirement management frameworks and documentation standards aligned with objectives.
• Lead backlog grooming and prioritization within Agile teams.
• Perform impact and gap analysis and solution assessment.
• Ensure traceability, testability, and alignment of requirements with goals.
• Review artifacts for consistency and quality across projects.
• Support solution design with functional context and collaborate with development and QA.
• Mentor junior analysts on requirements engineering and stakeholder management.
• Drive continuous improvement in BA processes and stakeholder engagement.
• Promote AI-assisted analysis tools to improve quality while ensuring governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation activities across complex business initiatives and programs.
• Define and maintain BRDs, FRDs, Epics, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and functional specifications.
• Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder discussions to identify and validate business needs.
• Define requirement management frameworks and documentation standards aligned with organizational objectives.
• Lead backlog grooming, requirement prioritization, and refinement activities within Agile delivery teams.
• Perform detailed impact analysis, gap analysis, and solution assessment activities.
• Ensure requirements are complete, traceable, testable, and aligned with business and project goals.
• Review requirement artifacts and provide guidance to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
• Support solution design discussions by providing functional and business context.
• Collaborate closely with development, testing, and business teams to ensure successful implementation of requirements.
• Mentor junior business analysts on requirements engineering, stakeholder management, and documentation best practices.

• Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to support end-to-end solution delivery.
