Job summary

Qualitykiosk Technologies seeks a senior Banking/Finance Business Analyst in Mumbai to collaborate with treasury, lending, risk, and IT teams. You will translate business needs into BRDs, data mappings, and user stories, aligning controls and operating models across front-, middle-, and back-office workflows.

You’ll apply strong SQL and data-analysis skills to validate data and support regulatory and financial reporting, while engaging stakeholders in Agile delivery and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in banking/financial services with treasury and lending focus.
• Understanding of treasury products and operations.
• Experience producing BRDs, functional specs, user stories and data mappings.
• Strong SQL and data-analysis skills to validate transactions and reports.
• Experience with API- or file-based integrations and end-to-end data flows.
• Hands-on experience with Agile delivery and backlog management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage with treasury, lending, operations, risk, finance, compliance, and technology stakeholders to understand business objectives, pain points, control requirements, and target operating models.
• Strong business analysis experience within banking or financial services, with exposure to treasury operations and lending businesses.
• Good understanding of treasury products and operations including deposits, money markets, FX, fixed income, derivatives, liquidity, settlements, and collateral.
• Good understanding of lending products and lifecycle from origination through servicing and closure.
• Knowledge of interest, fees, repayment schedules, accruals, delinquency, restructuring, collateral, covenants, limits, and credit approvals.
• Understanding of front-, middle-, and back-office workflows, maker-checker controls, segregation of duties, audit trails, exception management, and operational risk controls.
• Experience producing business requirement documents, functional specifications, user stories, use cases, process maps, business rules, data mappings, and acceptance criteria.
• Strong SQL and data-analysis skills, validating transaction data, balances, entries, reports, interfaces, and reconciliation outputs.
• Experience with API- or file-based integrations and data flows among treasury, lending, payments, GL, risk, compliance, and regulatory reporting systems.
• Hands-on experience with Agile delivery, backlog refinement, sprint ceremonies, requirements traceability, test management, defect management, and sign-off.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, workshop facilitation, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
